About Stillwell

Care that meets you where you are.

Stillwell is a small team of experienced, registered therapists who believe good therapy starts with feeling safe, understood and in control of your own pace.

Whether you are working through something specific or simply feel stuck, we take the time to understand what matters to you — then shape the support around it.

FAQs

Questions, answered.

Starting therapy can bring up a lot of questions. Tap one to see the answer.

Fees vary depending on your therapist and session length. You’ll see clear pricing before you book, with no hidden costs.

With a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on sessions with our psychologists. Many private health funds also cover some sessions — check with your fund for details.

No — you can book directly. You only need a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan if you’d like to claim a Medicare rebate.

Your first session is a chance to get to know each other. Your therapist will ask about what brings you in and what you’d like to change, and you can ask anything you like. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

Yes. What you share stays between you and your therapist, with only rare legal exceptions — such as a serious risk to your safety or someone else’s. Your therapist will explain these at the start.

Yes. Most of our therapists offer secure video sessions, so you can join from wherever you feel most comfortable.

That’s completely okay, and more common than you might think. Just let us know and we’ll help you find someone who suits you better.
